Initiatives

The Bridge Program consists of a workshop series for new faculty and a recommended protocol that departments can use to form individualized Mentoring Teams for newly-arrived faculty.

Peer Mentoring Circle

The Peer Mentoring Circle program creates new connections and provides a mentoring structure outside of a faculty member's home department that adds an additional layer of support. Learn more on the Faculty Affairs website.

Leadership Exploration Program

Held annually during the Spring semester, the four 2-hour sessions consist of discussions with peers, a panel of campus administrators and/or leaders, and subject-matter expert presentation.

Mentoring Graduate Students Series

A eight-part series offers a fun and informative way for all faculty to improve mentoring skills, including ways to professionally develop graduate student mentees. Learn more on the Faculty Affairs website.

Beyond Promotion Workshop

The annual Beyond Promotion: Mid-Career Planning Workshop is dedicated to helping faculty explore career pathways following promotion and/or tenure, as well as those considering promotion, administration, or center directorships.

Speaker Series

The UA ENGAGE Speaker Series is an annual event that fosters innovation, encourages community building, and enhances leadership capacity with real-world applications shared by distinguished guests from academia and public service.
